Friends of Tibet, do not forget
This India that hosted you, for decades at end
There was a time your own brother stabbed
Drove you away, from your own abode
This friend stood by, without regret
Despite bullying enemies, and pressures outset
For India saw your soul, as one of its own
For India found your company, is for its own good
The journey of spirituality is beyond all religion
All caste and race, that humans can frame
It is but once, the journey of the spirit
And who but friends, can walk together best
There will be a time, when India be no more
Crumbled to the Himalaya, we would be forlorn
India hopes at that time, your humble self lives on
Guides us all, to divine glory for all
This India that hosted you, for decades at end
